Beginning January 22, 2019, we started mailing new UFCU credit cards to our business account credit cardholders so they can take advantage of our improved credit card offerings, benefits, and rewards. Each new card will have its own unique credit card number, so individual account activity will be distinct from the activity of other cardholders on the account.
To ensure you receive your new credit card, please verify we have your correct mailing address on file through Online Banking or by contacting us today.
Your new VISA® credit card replaces your current UFCU credit card. Your new card comes with many benefits, as well as a new credit card number, expiration date, security code, and PIN. You’ll need to complete the following steps after you receive your new card(s):

Yes. If you have a Cash Back or Travel rewards card, your rewards will transfer by the end of March.
No. There are no costs or fees associated with your new card.
Yes, your new card comes with a new credit card number, expiration date, security code, and PIN. Once your new card arrives, please contact all merchants, billers, and service providers who rely on your credit card and provide the new account number to them. This might include any of the following:
Most cardholders’ account terms will remain the same. However, some cardholders will have a change to their payment due date. If you have a due date change, the details will be communicated to you in your March statement.
We will be mailing new cards beginning January 22, 2019. Please call (866) 928-5450 on or after February 25, 2019 to activate your new card. Once you activate your new card(s), the balance on your current card will transfer automatically.
If you have not received your new card(s) by February 8, 2019, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
Once you activate your card on or after February 25, 2019, you may begin using it immediately.
Please continue to use your current card through February 25, 2019. On or after February 25, 2019, call (866) 928-5450 to activate your new card. Once your new card is activated, the balance on your current card will transfer automatically. Your previous card will be deactivated on February 25, 2019, and we recommend you destroy your previous card at that time.
Once you’ve received and activated your new Visa card, destroy and discard your previous card.
No. We take the security and protection of your information very seriously. Your new card is a result of our taking the first step toward providing you the latest Visa features and benefits, while also preparing for additional improvements to how we’ll service your account in the future.
Any automatic or recurring payments connected to your previous credit card will no longer be valid. Your new card comes with a new account number, expiration date, security code, and PIN. Once your new card arrives, please activate your card, contact all merchants, billers, and service providers who rely on your credit card, and give your new account information to them. Any payments you had set up with a bill pay service on your previous card will no longer be valid. Your new card comes with a new credit card number, expiration date, security code, and PIN. Once your new card arrives, activate your card on or after February 25,2019, and contact all bill pay service providers and give your new account information to them.
No. The issuance of this new card will not impact your credit score. Similar to the way your current card works today, we will continue to include your balance and your credit line in our monthly report to the credit bureaus, and your account will appear on your credit bureau report as a revolving credit card. The credit bureaus will display your current balance and your credit line.
Most likely, yes. Visa is accepted at millions of locations worldwide and gives you access to cash at ATMs displaying the Visa/PLUS symbol.
No. As of February 22, 2019, your account information will no longer be available via eZCard. Instead, you will have access to all of your accounts via UFCU Online Banking and Mobile Banking. If you are not currently enrolled in Online Banking or Mobile Banking, visit UFCU.org/go/enroll to get started.
Any recurring payment scheduled to your credit card balance from a UFCU account on the scheduled due date will continue to process. But payments to credit card balances from other financial institutions, payments scheduled on days other than the due date, and one-time payments scheduled after February 22, 2019 within eZCard will not be processed.
